#ThunderPets bandanas benefiting Emancipet April 1-15
Four-legged companions are part of the family at ThunderCloud Subs, and they want to help make sure people and their pets in Austin get the care they need. That’s why they’ve teamed up with Emancipet to bring you #ThunderPets!
When you make a $5 donation to Emancipet at any ThunderCloud Subs store April 1-15, you’ll get an awesome pet bandana for your dog or cat to wear around town. Emancipet is an Austin-based nonprofit on a mission to make high-quality spay/neuter and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners.
Share a photo of your pet wearing their bandana on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #ThunderPets for a chance to make your pet famous or win a cool prize. ThunderCloud will share their favorites online, and they’ll also be giving away some sweet prizes for the best pics.
Emancipet will be at two ThunderCloud stores on Saturday, April 2nd (S. Lamar and Pflugerville stores) and April 9th (Riverside and 620 stores) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Stop by to learn about their low-cost veterinary services, eat a delicious lunch, get some free Emancipet swag, and make a $5 donation to get your #ThunderPets bandana.
This cause is near and dear to ThunderCloud’s owners and employees’ hearts. Co-owner Mike Haggerty and wife Jeanie love their Labrador mix Opal; co-founder John Meddaugh and wife Val couldn’t imagine life without their beagle Chuckles; and co-founder Andy Cotton is such a big fan of Rhodesian Ridgebacks that he’s even written a children’s book about one of them!
