Emancipet to offer bi-weekly deals at Central Austin clinic during March

Emancipet, the nonprofit veterinary clinic on a mission to make high-quality vet care affordable and accessible to all pet owners, is running two promotions at its new Central Austin clinic throughout the month of March: “Tag It Tuesdays” with free pet ID tags and “Thrifty Thursdays” with free office visits for new clients (regularly $5).

Emancipet’s Central Austin Branch is located at 1030 Norwood Park Blvd., Suite 316 (near the Goodwill and Walmart at Hwy. 183 and IH35), and the promotions will run now through the end of March.

Emancipet Central Austin is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with healthy pet services available on a walk-in basis and other services by appointment.

Emancipet served nearly 100,000 pets in 2017, providing quality veterinary care to families regardless of their ability to pay, ensuring that pets can stay with the people who love them.

Emancipet offers very low prices on services including vaccinations ($15 each), flea/heartworm prevention, and microchipping, all on a walk-in basis. Services currently available by appointment include specialized surgeries like tumor removals and heartworm treatment at fixed prices with no surprise charges.

The new clinic, Emancipet’s largest to date at 3,900 square feet, includes six exam rooms, a three-table surgical suite, separate entrances to keep healthy and sick animals separate, and full digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and blood analysis machines. The clinic was designed with Emancipet’s unique set of service offerings in mind, and will also serve as Emancipet’s headquarters for medical training and development of new services.

CEO Amy Mills says: “The Central Austin Branch is our first purpose-built clinic; the largest, most efficient, and offering the most amenities for our clients. It will be a model for all of our new clinics going forward.”
