Kerbey Lane Cafe’s famous pink pancakes to benefit breast cancer charity this October

During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kerbey Lane Cafe will donate all of the proceeds from its specialty pancakes to Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas, along with the proceeds from its limited edition “Cakes for a Cure” T-shirts.

The special pink pancakes Kerbey Lane will feature during the “Cakes for a Cure” fundraiser are:

  • Oct. 4-10: Strawberry Confetti
  • Oct. 11-17: Strawberry Banana
  • Oct. 18-24: Chocolate Covered Strawberry
  • Oct. 25-31: Strawberry Lemon Chiffon

The specialty pancakes are $3.95 each, $5.95 for a short stack, or $6.95 for a full stack. The pink “Cakes for a Cure” T-shirts, which feature strategically placed short stacks on the front, are $20 each and available only while supplies last.

*Oct. 1- 31, 2016 (pink pancakes debut Oct. 4.)
*Kerbey Lane will donate proceeds from its non-pink specialty pancakes Oct. 1- 3 to BCRC, in addition to its pink specialty pancakes Oct. 4- 31.

WHY
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Kerbey Lane Cafe is helping raise awareness and funds for the cause through its annual “Cakes for a Cure” fundraiser. When guests buy a specialty pancake or “Cakes for a Cure” pink T-shirt from Oct. 1- 31, Kerbey Lane donates all proceeds from the items to the local nonprofit Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas. BCRC is a centralized source of information, education and support that enables women to be active, knowledgeable participants in their healthcare.
