Our client Freedom Solar Power ranked 338th in Inc. Magazine’s top 500 fastest-growing private companies in America, putting them in the top 7 percent of the 2016 Inc. 5000 that was recently announced.
Freedom Solar achieved a mind-boggling 1,134 percent growth, with $15.9 million in revenue in the past three years. Only 33 Texas-based companies were ranked in Inc. Magazine’s top 500, and of those, only nine were headquartered in Austin.
To qualify for the Inc. 5000, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012, with at least $100,000 in revenue for 2012 and $2 million for 2015. They must be independent, privately held, for-profit companies based in the United States. The average company on the Inc. 5000 achieved a three-year growth of 433 percent.
“We’re proud to be among the nation’s 500 most successful private companies that are strengthening the local economy and creating more jobs in the U.S.,” says Kyle Frazier, Freedom’s director of sales.
“While this recognition is a hallmark of success, the achievement for us will be building on this momentum. Solar is the fastest growing source of electrical generation in the U.S. and it will continue to dominate as efficiency increases and prices fall,” says Frazier.
