Emancipet to open February 14  with funding support from PetSmart Charities®

Low-cost veterinary care is coming to northeast Philadelphia. Emancipet will open a low-cost pet health clinic on February 14 at 575 Adams Avenue. The new clinic will offer spay/neuter surgeries as well as vaccinations, microchips, monthly flea and heartworm prevention, puppy and kitten de-worming, and treatment for common conditions such as skin and ear infections. Celebrating its 22nd year, the Human Rights Campaign Austin’s annual Gala is one of the most successful in the country, raising record funding to support civil rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people. Business and community leader and advocate Priscilla Guajardo Cortez has been selected to lead Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, which helps low-income individuals access the civil justice system by providing volunteer attorneys who donate legal advice and representation.
