Two clients win Austin ‘Best of the Best’ Awards; three are finalists

The Austin American-Statesman announced the winners of its inaugural “Best of the Best” Awards, and we’re thrilled to announce two of our clients won first place in their categories. Congratulations Dr. Michael C. Bell, DDS, PC on winning Best Dentist, and to ThunderCloud Subs on winning Best Sandwich Shop!

We’d also like to commend our clients who were selected as top three finalists for the Best of the Best Awards including Belmont Village Senior Living (nominated for Best Assisted Living Facility and Best Retirement Community), Emancipet (nominated for Best Veterinarian), and The Trail Foundation (nominated for Best Nonprofit).

Emancipet’s popular Sit Stay Day allows Austinites to help provide care for pets in need by enjoying local treats in the comfort of their own home!

Each Valentine’s Day-inspired Sit Stay Day kit contains gourmet food and drink items, gift cards to local hot spots, assorted pet treats, and other goodies donated by Austin-area businesses that are assembled into 250 kits and delivered to Austin-area homes and offices on Friday, Feb. 9. Read more

ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot raises $325K in 2017; cumulative donation to Caritas reaches nearly $3.5 million

The owners of ThunderCloud Subs presented Caritas of Austin, a local nonprofit that works to prevent and end homelessness in Austin, with a check for $325,000, the proceeds raised at the 27th annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day.

ThunderCloud donates all of the proceeds from the annual event directly to Caritas. This year’s donation brings the cumulative total raised for Caritas to nearly $3.5 million— $3,438,375 to be exact. Read more

ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot Art Contest opens; deadline Nov. 27

Imagine free ThunderCloud subs all year long, and treating your friends and family to sub sandwich parties! Three hundred and sixty-five subs are the grand prize for the winner of the 2018 ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot Art Contest.

Artists ranging from graphic designers to middle school students compete each year to create the iconic Trot artwork that appears on 20,000-plus T-shirts and other materials promoting the annual Thanksgiving day event. November 27 is the deadline to enter; the winner will be notified in January. Read more

ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot unveils 2017 artwork and announces event registration

Early bird registration for the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is now open with reduced pricing, and the winner of the annual Art Contest has been selected. Jillian Collins won 365 vouchers for free ThunderCloud sandwiches for her watercolor painting of a turkey runner in front of the Texas State Capitol topped with a sub sandwich.   Read more
