Emancipet CEO praised as visionary speaker by Austin-American Statesman

“One speaker in town who could give (Evan) Smith or (Lawrence) Wright a run for their money is Amy Mills, CEO of Emancipet, an Austin nonprofit that provides free or low-cost spay, neutering and veterinary care at seven clinics in four cities,” said Micheal Barnes, Austin American-Statesman social columnist, in his latest Out & About column.

Emancipet’s 19th anniversary luncheon May 11

Emancipet will celebrate 19 years of serving pets and their people and share the organization’s vision for the future at its annual luncheon on Friday, May 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Austin, 208 Barton Springs Rd.

Emancipet raised a record-breaking $317,000 at its 17th anniversary luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel. (Last year, the luncheon raised $262,000.)
