Fresh approaches and
smart solutions to PR challenges.

Delivering on the promise of smart PR.

A former journalist, Brenda Thompson began her public relations firm in 2003 with a few guiding principles: doing smart work for people she likes and brands she admires, getting outstanding results, cultivating long-term relationships, and staying small and selective. Remaining true to these values has meant working with a wide variety of clients over the years.

Today, Brenda Thompson Communications provides strategic PR counsel and services to organizations in the corporate, nonprofit, hospitality, restaurant, and higher education sectors in Los Angeles and Austin.

Highlights include promoting a statewide documentary series for public television created by The University of Texas System, working with co-founders of GSD&M on their book about the nation’s most effective anti-litter campaign, launching a unique bottled water benefiting college scholarships, planning one of the largest rallies ever held at the state capitol, and helping nonprofit groups expand their influence through local and national media coverage.
