Freedom Solar Power celebrates inauguration of Austin’s largest rooftop solar array

Our client Freedom Solar Power inaugurated the largest rooftop solar installation in Central Texas at the Strictly Pediatrics Surgery Center in Mueller at a festive celebration on June 18.

Comprised of nearly 2,500 solar panels, the 812-kilowatt system designed and installed by Freedom Solar features two solar canopy structures on the parking garage, a roof-mounted solar array on the building, and an in-lobby monitoring system that shows the energy savings in real time. Read more

Recap of Mueller Happy Hour at Elaine’s at Eastside Cafe

After a week of nonstop rain, the clouds finally parted and gave way to sunshine— just in time for the Mueller happy hour on the outdoor patio of Elaine’s at Eastside Cafe.

About 60 Mueller residents came to the meet up on April 22. Some rode their bikes from the neighborhood, and others stopped by on their way home from work. Neighbors mingled and got to know one another while enjoying drink specials, the beautiful scenery of the backyard garden, and free appetizers including shrimp ceviche and vegetable taquitos. Emancipet raises $317,000 at 17th anniversary luncheon

Emancipet raised a record-breaking $317,000 at its 17th anniversary luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel. (Last year, the luncheon raised $262,000.) More than 500 supporters, community leaders, volunteers, and philanthropists helped Emancipet celebrate 17 years of serving pets and their people. Read more
